Hardcover Book in Very Good Condition with a Good Dust Jacket. 224 pages, inc. bibliography and index. Price of 30s on lower corner of front flap of jacket. Illustrations include 13 plates, 7 line drawings, and maps. The history of London from Prehistoric and Roman times to modern times. The book is bound in burnt orange cloth, green title panel on spine with gilt titles, very clean, slight rubbing to lower edge and corners, spine head cloth indented a bit. Sewn binding is tight, solid and square. Maps on endpapers. Internals like new. In remarkably good condition. Gray and orange Jacket has slight wear to extremities, spine head scuffed, rear spine edge has four pock-marks. 8.5 x 5.75 inches. 1965, Hutchinson of London.
