About This Item
London, Printed for The Company of Stationers, 1742 1st. Miniature hardback, approx 8 x 5 cm. Polished maroon leather fine binding, with gilt decorated boards and spine. Marbled endpapers, full gilt page edging. Brass edge clasps. In very good condition. Boards rubbed, corners slightly bumped and chipped on top rear corner, chipped on top end of spine, and chip to middle of spine. Edges torn on frontis plate. Later binding with pages pasted in. Else a clean and tight copy. Double page frontis “Navy Office”, fold-out double paged main title/contents. 12pp Almanack (each month), 1pp Queens Reigns, 1pp. Lord Mayors, 1pp. Sherrifs, 2pp Interest Table.
