Madison: Self-Published, 1864. Second edition. Hardcover. Fair. Madison: SELF-PUBLISHED, 1864. 2nd edition. Fair. Covers are extremely rubbed and soiled, spine cover is missing. PO signature in a couple of places. Contents are foxed and pages show the effects of being stored in a humid area for a long period of time. The author, nicknamed "pump" was a flamboyant newpaper-man in Madison, WI. The authors anti-Republican views at the time of the Civil War are expressed.
