B.T. Batsford, 1947. Hardcover. Acceptable/Acceptable. 1947. First Edition. 183 pages. Illustrated dust jacket over red cloth with a colour illustrated frontis and photographic black and white plates throughout. Heavy tanning to pages with heavier tanning to pastedowns and endpapers. Pencil inscriptions to front endpaper and visible foxing to text block edges. There is cracks to guttering with exposed netting and binding is loose. Boards have fair rubbing and notable bumping to corners. Fair crushing to spine ends. Clipped jacket with heavy edge wear and visible rubbing. Area of loss to spine and heavier sunning to spine. Splitting to joints and visible tearing to corners, edges and spine ends.
