Obra excepcional y rara, publicada por los grandes almacenes estadounidenses Wanamaker; Este diario se abre con la portada adornada con un dibujo de George Barbier; el calendario está adornado con cuatro láminas de George Barbier, en negro y a plena página, que ilustran las cuatro estaciones. Le siguen 28 páginas de notas, luego L'Anacréon des Dames con poemas y elegías de Bertin, Chénier, Corneille, La Fontaine, Malherbe, Musset, Ronsard, Voltaire. Tres dibujos, en negro, a plena página adornan los poemas.
