About This Item

New York: Schocken, 1970. First Edition. Hardcover. Good/Good. Hardcover. 1st Edition. Fourth Printing. Has some wear and signs of age. DJ has a few wrinkles and tears. DJ now placed in protective mylar. Brown boards with red cloth backstrip. Exoected age-tanning to pages but otherwise clean and unmarked. Introduction by Paul Goodman. Photo of Helen and Scott in introductory pages. As a personal note, I love this cover. They should have kept it for the paperback. I also had the chance to meet Helen Nearing at her farm in the early 1990s. This book is a classic. Homesteading
