Hardcover, year unstated but circa 1947 (latest date in foreword), with 36 illustrations and a foldout map to rear, published by Hutchinson & Co. (Publishers) Ltd, London, 266 pages.
Scarce copy. Octavo/8vo. Measures around 8 5/8" by 5 7/8" by 1". Dust jacket is price-clipped and is somewhat worn, creased, torn, tattered and a bit chipped. It is also a bit scuffed and marked, though reasonably clean. Blue leatherette-texture (probably cloth) binding with black lettering to spine, a little marked though reasonably clean. Signs of shelf-wear. Binding reasonably firm. Page edges browned, scuffed and lightly foxed. Previous owner name inscribed to front pastedown and rear flap of dust jacket where it has bled onto rear endpaper. Some foxing to preliminary and hindmost pages, occasional marking elsewhere but otherwise page surfaces clean, with no marginalia, underlining, etc. See pictures for further information.
