Grey boards, gilt top, gilt and red lettering on spine, gilt lettering and red/navy heart and star illustration on front, green illustrated endpapers, 257 numbered pages plus 2 of ads. Boards smudged, lightly bumped and rubbed on ends of spine, corners rubbed and bowed. Previous owner's name and date (1905) in ink on page following ffep, two pinpoint brown dots on front endpapers, else pages bright. Overall, very good plus. . First Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good Plus/No DJ. Illus. by Rahn, A.D.. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
