One of several titles of this Definitive Edition of the works of Anatole France, published in 1927, and "printed on special India tint laid antique paper with endpapers in color from a design by Aubrey Beardsley, bound in black linen cloth stamped in gold" with an ornate overall design. The dust jacket repeats the same design but reverses the colors with a gold background, decorations in black. 296 pp.
