J. Johnson. In this copy the plates are by J. Macfarlane, but according to Muir the (unsigned) text illustrations are by Johnson. The list of other titles by Turner on the verso of the half-title page ends with Jennifer J, which was published in 1922.

Illustrated with a frontispiece, three plates and text illustrations by A.J. Johnson. A prize inscription dated 1904 on recto of frontispiece which has its tissue guard but is frayed and a little chipped at its margins. Head and foot of spine and corners of boards rubbed, a little foxing internally; a very good copy and gilt is bright.
