About This Item

London: Chapman & Hall, 1964. First edition, first printing. Published by Chapman & Hall in London, 1964. This is a near fine copy. The dust wrapper has some creasing to the bottom of the front panel, and the centre of the rear. The only additional wear is some very minimal spotting to the spine. It has not been price clipped, showing 30s. The boards are free from notable wear and the text blocks are lightly toned. The front preliminaries are slightly rippled. This copy is free from previous owners ink and is, overall, in near fine condition. The first volume of Waugh's autobiography. It is dedicated to his grandchildren.
