About This Item
Ward, Lock and Co., London, 1896. 1st Edition. Hardcover. Poor/No Jacket. 343 pages (complete). A scruffy copy of this charming novel. The claret cloth cover is much worn all about. The titling and decoration are in gilt and are benign. The seams of the spine, the head and the foot, are worn. The spine is playful but secure. Inside, the contents have evidence of contented, energetic ownership. The pages have some creasing, wear, user marks, clear, confident, companionable and amiable. It is diligently entertaining and welcoming. fk. Our orders are shipped using tracked courier delivery services.
