G.P. Putnam's Sons, 1909. Thirty First Printing. . Hardcover. Very Good. pp.366 clean tight copy but for wife and husband's names on inside front cover and frontpiece. Oddly enough their last names are Hubbard. from Hamilton, Ontario. former bookstore in Hamilton small stamp on lower edge of frontpiece. Some research shows that these two names COULD be the parents of Canadian artist Robert Hamilton Hubbard (1916). book shows front and back spine gutter cracked but all pages intact, etchings of authors discussed have a piece of onion skin paper protection, top and bottom spines shows small tears and creases, top front spine hinge 1/4" tear down, wear to corners and shelf wear to board edges, gold gilt top edge and on front cover and spine for title, 3/4" rubbing to lower spine taking off the blue color of cloth Size: 16mo - over 5¾" - 6¾" tall
