Full green suede leather Yapp binding with calf leather title panels on front cover and spine, gilt lettering; top edge gilt; untrimmed fore and tail edges; pale green, horizontal-ribbed moire silk doublures; tissue-guarded frontispiece and illustrations. Clean covers and spine; green suede has aged light brown along edges and on spine; suede remains supple, soft; chips missing at spine head; horizontal split in suede at upper spine; 3/4 inch chip missing at back cover fore edge; tightly bound, but slightly weakened; free end papers slightly age darkened; frontispiece tissue-guard loose and laid in; bright, clean interior. 'Fifteenth Thousand'. 16mo, 436 pp; many tissue-guarded illustrations.
