About This Item
Marjorie L.C. Pickthall (1883-1922) was born in England, but spent most of her life in Canada, where she was a widely published poet and author. She has been called the greatest Canadian poet of her generation. She returned to England for a time, where she published a historical novel called Little Hearts (originally called Porsuite Joyeuse) in 1915. This copy was published by McClelland & Stewart of Toronto in 1926. It is missing the dust jacket, but otherwise is in Good condition, with foxing to the front and back past downs and fly leaves, as well as some fading to the printing on the Dovers and spine. There is also some age-related discolouration to the pages, but the text is clear.
