Text otherwise clean & rather crisp, with a slight touch of toning to extremeties. Light edgewear, with some light toning to spine. Binding secure. A sturdy copy.. Royal 4to. 12.25 x 13 in. 178 pp. Deluxe edition. Green cloth, titles in gilt. Illustrated with 30 tipped-in color plates, from drawings by EUGÈNE BURNAND. This magnificent edition is limited to 700 copies for Great Britain & 500 for America. Fresh material from a Spanish version of the 'Fioretti' (Sevile, 1492), & from other sources, has here been translated for the first time into English.
