Very good in red-orange boards with black lettering and illustrations in a fair dustjacket (a few spots to the covers, and edgetears to a couple of pages, but otherwise a clean copy, the fragile and rather uncommon dust jacket is quite chipped and edgeworn with some loss at the ends of the spine and all corners, but it still bright and appealing.). Early reprint. A charming little book about a hungry bear and his friends the farm animals, written and illustrated by Johnny Gruelle (author of the Raggedy Ann stories) both in full color and in black and white drawings. Small format, measuring just 6 inches wide by 7 1/2 inches tall, unpaginated.
