About This Item
1908), 1908. hardcover. Good. 0x0x0. Published by Calmann-Levy, with copyright of 1908, but judging from Art-Deco boards this was probably a printing that came out between WWI and WWII--possibly in a binding for a private library, because age-toning suggests a pbk.; 419 p., plus pref. of 15 p., and list of other publications; only notation is name of former owner on back end page, with "Rome 1988;" faint staining at upper corners of front matter and pref. Binding is tight, and boards with pale green cloth corners and spine, with bright gilt lettering on a gray patch, are perfectly preserved by a plastic cover. Unfortunately the cover was affixed with scotch tape, which has left marks on paste downs. Ribbon book mark. 12mo.
