New York: E.P. Dutton & Company, Inc, 1953. Book Club Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/Good. Signature of science fiction author Chad Oliver on the front endpaper. Very Good in a Good jacket, generally toned, tears at the flap folds. Blue boards, lightly mottled, with red ink lettering on the spine. Square and firmly bound with a blue top stain, foxed, toned at the endpapers, clean otherwise. Brown's novel about two men who seek to push forward a bill to allow the United States to conquer the stars.
