Cornwall: Rev. H. A. Simco, Penheale-Press, 1832. Book. Very Good. Hardcover. First Edition. 8vo (11 X 18cm). The first three years complete with title page for each month often with engraved vignette, other woodcut illustrations in the text. The works at the end of this volume are eclectic, vol. IX of Light from the West is incomplete pages 1-24 only, followed by the Chirstian's Penny Magazine, Volume III, 1848, pages 197-328; No. 73 Houlston's Series of Tracts - Forethought by Mrs Cameron, 12 pages. The Friendly Visitor is bound in at the back - No. 245, February 1839 and no. 248 May 1839. Bound in contemporary half polished brown calf with marbled paper covered boards, good with a little general wear and rubbing. Contents generally clean and tight, first few pages a little finger soiled. A very good run of the very early Light from the West..
