About This Item
Stated first edition. Paper covers with purple cloth over the spine. Gilt decoration on the cover and gilt print on the spine. Little wear to the cover other than a bit of edgewear at the lower edge of the spine. The pages appear to be clean, tight and unmarked, and the binding is solid. Looks as if a name has been blacked out on the front free endpaper. The dust jacket shows more wear, with crimps and tears at the edges and corners (most significant at the spine) and a piece missing at the lower left rear corner (see photo #3). An anthology of dozens of works of fiction, nonfiction and poetry about Christmas. A few author's names I happen to recognize include John Milton, Dorothy L. Sayers, William Shakespeare, B. J. Shute, Mark Twain, Moss Hart, G. K. Chesterton, Pearl Buck, Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, and Ruth Sawyer. And many more. A rare book.

Check back frequently to see what's new. -----
