Tow volumes in stamped green cloth; volume 1 has top half of spine partially torn, tape at the hinges, and small stain to rear endpaper and stain to top corner of frontispiece page extending slightly into the etching of Etty; cloth on both shows wear to extremities; "withdrawn" stamp and two page references to endpapers; text unmarked and clean. 367 pp + 343 pp. The frontispiece on page one is signed "yours ever truly, Wm Etty" in lower corner. ; Signed by Author .
