About This Item
London: Macmillan and Co., Ltd, 1875. Hardcover. Good+. Comprehensive biography of noted Anglo-Irish Whig statesman who served as prime minister from 1782 to 1783. Complete three volume set. Binding shows some wear, including a few small perforations to cloth along heel of first volume. Front hinge of one of the volumes is cracked; and the other hinges are tender. Books show light foxing, mostly limited to endpapers and edges of book block. All said, a solid reading and reference set.
