About This Item

Old Town, Maine: Penobscot Nation Museum, 2002. Reprint . Spiral Bound Paper Wrappers. Fine. iii, 7-147 pp. Reprint of the original 1893 edition, now scarce, as many copies were burned in a warehouse fire. In his preface, Nicolar states that he used no material from the white man for his sources. One of the best sources of Abnaki spiritual beliefs. Nicolar was elected 18 times to be tribal representative to the Maine legislature. Fine.
