Inscribed, signed, and dated (June 3, 1975) by Haley on the half-title page. In near fine condition, split beginning at top of front hinge. Slipcase had minor bumping to corners and some minor scuffing on bottom edge. Erwin E Smith was the outstanding cowboy photographer of the West. The prints from which the gravure plates in this book have been engraved were made in 1936 by Erwin E SMith for the Texas Centennial celebration and are now a part of the permanent display of Smith's range photography in The Texas Memorial Museum..
