Good. 2 volumes, large 8vo, 9.75 x 6.25 inches, midnight brown cloth with gilt spines and decorations on front covers, good with general moderate wear to bindings, wear and rubbing to edges of boards, occasional wear and light loss along outer joints, spine ends, loss to spine caps, tightly bound, contents very good: endpapers and outermost pages show a bit of foxing but the vast majority of pages bright and free of foxing (plates tend to be quite foxed, including the double frontispiece and engraved title page). 606 & 600 pp.
