London: Longman, Hurst, Rees, Orme, Brown, and Green, 1824. First Edition . Half Leather - Hardbound. Very Good-/No Jacket. 360 & 328 pages. Contemporary polished red leather over spine and corners and marbled paper over boards. Slightly raised spine bands with two black leather spine labels on each volume. Gilt stamped lettering. Marbled edges of text block and marbled end leaves. Covers show a little rubbing, mostly on boards, though with a little at foot of spines. Light wear on edges. Both volume remains tight and attractive.
