Hasegawa, Tokyo, undated. Edition Unstated. Softcover. Near Fine Condition/No Dust Jacket. GUY MARESCAUX. Life Scenes of Japan, Tokyo: Hasegawa, undated (mid-20th century). About 15x10cm, unpaginated with 12 leaves plus covers, all crepe, string-bound, bright color printing. Goes through the year month by month, describing Japanese life through its customs and festivals. Scarce; Worldcat locates 11 copies dated 1931 or 1949, but no others are available in the marketplace at this writing. Condition of this book: Small tear in spine, else fine -- best I've seen of the small Japanese crepe books. Size: 12mo. Text body is clean, and free from previous owner annotation, underlining and highlighting. Binding is tight, covers and spine fully intact. All edges clean, neat and free of foxing.
