Frontispiece in first volume from the portrait by Reynolds. Period binding of full diced calf with raised bands, gilt decorations to spines, marbled edges and endpapers. All volumes rebacked with spines relaid, retaining original endpapers.Armorial bookplate on front pastedown of each volume. The original spine of the last volume is defective and therefore only partially relaid. A very good set.
