Auburn, NY: Derby & Miller, 1852. 12mo. 492, [4] pp., frontis. In orig. cloth. Binding rubbed. Previous owner names on each pastedown. Lacking preliminary blank. Light foxing. Very good or nearly so. Sabin 76957. Originally written by Sargent in 1842 in service of his third unsuccessful campaign for the presidency, this biography was periodically revised and reissued in service of his campaigns. Here it was reissued as a memorial to the recently deceased statesman.
