Sampson Low, 1897. 1st Edition. Hardcover. Good/No Jacket. 881pp in total for the two volumes, lack dust wrappers, illustrated, some tissue guards still in place, previous owners names to second free front end paper and bookplates to front paste downs. The boards have some rubbing and wear to edges especially tops and bottoms of spines which have some slight splitting, gilt designs to covers are undamaged, there is a bump to upper edge of volume two. Internally only light reading wear, some scattered spotting, edges of text blocks rough cut, heavy set, will require additional postage outside the UK.
