Good. 0x0x0. 440 p., clean and unmarked--not ex-lib., no former owner's name; frontis. is sepia photo of the distinguished publisher and diplomat, appointed ambassador to the UK by Woodrow Wilson after WWI, within are other photos of Wilson, George V, Lord Kitchener and other important figures of the time; paper mildly age-toned but of fine quality and very strong; TEG, other edges deckle; blue boards show scuffing and bumping despite presence of rather chipped d.j., with closed tear along spine that separate front and inside panel from back--front features photo of Mr. Page and back three ads for books; gilt lettering on spine and gilt holograph of author's signature on front board are faded but legible; binding firm although back gutter has cracked.
