William Heinemann Ltd, 1924. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1924. No Edition Remarks. 437 pages. No dust jacket. Red cloth with gilt lettering to spine. Black and white frontispiece. Cracking to gutter between frontispiece & title page. Expected library inserts, stamps and inscriptions. Pages remain bright with minimal tanning and foxing. Heavier to endpapers & paste downs. Binding is slightly shaky , however pages remain attached. Book has a slight forward lean. Boards have moderate edge-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Visible sunning to spine and edges with crushing to spine ends. Gilt lettering is darkened to spine.
