Date (June16, 1974) in ink at top of front endpaper. The price clipped jacket has a little edgewear and one short, closed tear at the top of the front panel. The spine is sunned from red to orange. A biography of Oklahoma oil tycoon E. W. Marland, whose mansion in Ponca City is still a showplace. Includes drawings (and frontispice portrait of Marland) by J. Craig Sheppard; 259 pages.
