Garden City: Doubleday, Doran & Company, 1944. Hardcover. Small 8vo. Tan cloth, pictorial price-clipped dust jacket. 216pp. Line drawings. Very good/very good. Bit of jacket rubbing and a few small edge chips (mainly at head and tale of jacket spine). Tight, nice first edition of this tale of peasants in a rural New Mexican village.
