1892 hardcover as pictured. This is a nicely made volume that has seen considerable use. A history of the renowned Baptist preacher. Binding is largely intact. The front hinge is cracked at the frontispiece. Rear hinge also partially cracked. Blue cloth boards with gold and silver stamping and beveled edges are soiled and worn with fraying at head and tail of spine and at corners. Patterned endpapers are tanned with small pencil notation and a few bookworm holes at front. Includes 32 illustrations, and 13 pictures by John Ploughman. No dust jacket.
