To Which is Added an Appendix, Containing the Late Correspondance of the Chancellor of the Exchequer With the Bank, and a List of the Statutes...Tan cloth boards. viii, 172 p.p. Includes frontispiece of Abraham Newland. Bruising to bottom corners and light wear to tips. Previous tape-marker to spine tail and front and rear board. Remains of sticker label on front board Light rubbing at edges. Institute of Bankers Regulations of Library pasted on the front pastedown endpaper [banking I written in red ink]. Front upper hinge starting. Light foxing. Some roughly cut edges. Otherwise a very good copy. Abraham Newland [1730-1807] was the Bank of England's principal cashier in 1782, a post he held until 1807.
