Hamish Hamilton, Bermann Fischer, 1941. Hardcover. Good. 1941. No edition remarks. 506 pages. No dust jacket. Blue cloth with gilt lettering to spine and gilt publisher's monogram to front. Written in German. From the Deutsche Bucher series. Pages are lightly tanned and thumbed at the edges, with light foxing. Binding has remained firm. Small hole to front hinge. Slight stains to front endpaper and pastedown. Moderate liquid droplet marks and stains to text block edges. Upper text block edge intensely tanned. Boards are a little rub worn, with slight shelf wear to corners, spine and edges. Corners are a little bumped and very slightly frayed. Spine ends are mildly crushed. Light sunning to spine. Book has a slight forward lean. S;light water stains to boards and spine. Gilt lettering slightly dulled.
