London: Chatham Publishing, 2001. First edition. , 2001. Octavo, publisher's blue boards, pp. 512; illustrated. Laid in is a one page, word processed letter, signed by author, circa 200 words. Elphick replies to a reader, regarding a typo on the dust jacket and regarding an ink drawing of a ship (drawing not included). Elphick goes on to mention his forthcoming publication on the Landing Ship Tanks of WWII, and encourages the enthusiast to share any information he may have. Older American postage stamp of a ship taped (yellowed) to front free endpaper, brief ink note on front pastedown, else very good or better in dust jacket. The letter is folding twice for mailing, else good. The weight of this book may necessitate a higher shipping charge if sent overseas. .
