Boston:Bowles and Dearborn. 1829. 1st edition. xv+256pp. Hardcover. Original boards with cloth spine soiled and shelfworn. Spine strip quite worn, with chips and tears at ends and several small tears along edges. Label is quite soiled, but still visible. Internally end-pages are soiled and age toned with mild foxing scattered throughout. A very light previous owners name is penciled to top edge of title page, as well as drawings to inside front board of two ships. One is labeled "Eng Baroqe Edwd Robinson Sunday 13th Decr. 1840. Bay of Bengal Lat 17.1 Lon 91.10" very lightly in pencil. A few pages have small chips and tears to edges. The binding is tight. (Sabin 14)
