[It includes] many letters of historic value embargoed until the late 1960s and thus unavailable to early biographers'. Recipients include John Buchan, Charles Doughty, Sir Edward Elgar, E.M. Forster, Ezra Pound, Bernard Shaw, Henry Williamson and Sir Hugh Trenchard.
