A novel about two young girls and their love of nature and the outdoors, written by the British author while she was on bed rest for a heart ailment. Lovely slate blue cloth binding with illustrated embossed paper illustration inset on front boards. Many silhouette illustrations by the author. Toned newspaper article about Napier from the October 29, 1911 issue of The Sun laid in envelope glued to front free endpaper. Jacket laid in but it is toned, worn and has silverfish damage. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 153 pages .
