About This Item
London: Published by the Author, at the Egyptian Hall, Piccadilly, 1841. First Edition. Good. First edition, first issue with "Frederick" instead of "Zedikiah". Two volumes, bound in publisher's dark green diced grain cloth with title labels to spines with yellow coated endhseets, and illustrations carefully engraved from Catlin's original drawings; errata slip present in Volume II. Good with cloth worn and soiled, title labels toned, chipped and creased, corners softened. Endsheets browned, pages toned and foxed. Inner hinges slightly exsposed with a glue repair evident to the front joint of Volume II.
