London: Lackington, Allen & Co, 1814. Full leather. Very Good. The 1814 stated 8th edition, complete in 3 volumes. All 3 volumes tight and VG- to VG in their full, light-brown calf. Vol. I's front board cleanly detached, light wear to the spine ends and the panels. Light to medium foxing as well to the text, tasteful former owner bookplate at each of the pastedowns. 5 raised bands along each spine, lavish gilt-tooling within the compartments, handsome dark-red leather title labels. Uniform octavos, lovely marbled edges, endpapers and pastedowns.
