Good/ Good (Book- Mild general shelf wear to cloth, a little offset browning and discolouration to end papers, same offset browning extending to half title of Vol I and one leaf at rear of Vol II has offset browning from content related notes made by a previous owner to a sheet of paper having been left inside the book. Foxing to fore edges of both vols extending to margins more so to rear of vol I, No previous owner names or annotations. Dust Jackets - a little loss to extremities, scalpel line cuts to front of both front panels and price clipped, . Now in removable proprietary protective sleeves to which pieces of best match paper have been inserted to mask the stark white of the backing paper so as not to offend the eye on the bookshelf. The sleeves make the cut lines above barely noticeable. No other notable defects to books or jackets).
