Slight creases, browning and rubbing to wrappers; slight wear to top edges of few leaves at front (paperclip marking); slight internal browning to edges. 64 pages. Upper wrapper title. Series of 19 letters to a fictitious 'old carpenter', outlining Sinclair's views on American capitalism; one of the most widely distributed of the author's self-published works in pamphlet format. Ahouse A38a; Gottesman A1090. Well-preserved copy.
