London: Oxford University Press, 1931. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. Two volume set identically bound in red cloth with cream paper title plates on the spines. Some light wear to boards, title plates show some discoloration but remaining neat and robust. Hinges tight, some spotting to closed page edges. Elegant Ex-libris paste-down inside the front of each with gift inscriptions opposite dated 1931. Frontispiece with tissue guard to each volume. Pages smooth, some sporadic brown spots throughout but still a good tidy set. May incur additional postage charges overseas.
