Harper's Family Library No. LVI. Notes and life of Euler by Brewster and additional notes by John Griscom. The letters were originally published in 1768, but were not translated into English until 1823. They were first published in America by J. & J. Harper in 1833. The letters in this second volume were written in 1761-62 and concern philosophy, astronomy, optics, magnetics, longitude, electricity, weather, and the wonders of the human voice. Many figures.
