London: G. G. J. and J. Robinson, Pater-Noster-Row, 1787. Second edition. Full Leather. Very Good. 21 x 14 cm. Octavo. xi 467pp, 490pp (14pp index). Two volume set. Bound in full brown leather red leather spine labels and gilt spine design. Illustrated with four plates which consist of 3 folding maps, of Egypt, the city of Alexandria, and the Nile River Delta, and a plan of the great pyramid. There is some foxing to the plates and a small closed tear to the plan; else in nice condition. Front hinge of volume one starting. Nice set. Armorial bookplate of Robert Hunter Esq, of Thurston on front fixed endpaper of both volumes. ESTC T12193.
