A limited first printing signed by Gildemeister & Gray. 120 pages. The volume is about the early history of the Oregon Trail with personal diary accounts and letters of the journey westward in the mid-1800s. It is illustrated with original art and photographic illustrations plus selected historic photographs. Red decorative cloth covers with sharp gold lettering on front cover and spine. An almost mint copy for the condition conscious purchaser.
